Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized tens of thousands textile products bearing the logo of famous brands


Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP seized 42 803 textiles and 144 bags, purses, belts suspected of infringing intellectual property rights of world famous brands. Goods were transported with Polish truck, entering the country from Turkey. The customs officers selected the truck for detailed check. During the inspection customs officers found in the truck 38,910 pairs of ladies, men's and children's stockings, with the logo Adidas, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, New Balance, Armani. The inspections were discovered and total 3893 Textiles - T-shirts, sports kits, blouses, shirts, trousers with the logo Adidas, Nike, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Armani, Pepe Jeans, Tommy Hilfinger and 144 bags, purses and a belt  with the logo Gucci, Guess Chanel, Michael Kors.

In compliance with EU Regulation No 608/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Law on Brands and Geographic Indications, the products were seized and the rights owners of the relevant brands will be informed about the seizure.
