Inspectors from the Rousse Customs House detained 4,500 boxes of cigarettes in the trunk of a car

  On June 30, 2017, during an action in the city, officers of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department at the Rousse Customs House stopped a Mercedes car for inspection. In the trunk they found 4,500 boxes of cigarettes without Bulgarian excise labels. All cigarettes of the brand "Business Royals", with an inscription in Latin on the packaging "Duty free sale only". Prevented damage to the state budget amounted to BGN 33,750.

A 45-year-old man driving the car was detained. Cigarettes and the car are also detained. The Rousse District Prosecutor's Office is forming a pre-trial proceeding, which is kept on the inventory of Rousse Customs House.
