10 000 bottles of vermouth without documents found by a mobile customs group in Burgas

More than 10 000 bottles of vermouth were found by Customs officers in the Burgas. On 25.07.2017, a customs mobile group checked a warehouse for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. During the inspection were found 10 116 one liter bottles without documents for paid excise duty. The excise duty due for this alcohol is over 9 000 BGN. The bottles were detained with a protocol to the start of administrative proceedings.

The check is part of the intensified control during the active season on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in order to prevent the distribution of excise goods in breach of the legislation.
