Customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo BCP found 11.180 kilos of tablets containing pseudoephedrine in Turkish car.

On 30.07.2017, around 7 p.m.  at the "Incoming cars and buses" arrives a Peugeot Car with Turkish registration, entering the country from Turkey.  The car is run by a Turkish citizen - Serban B. (42 years old). Custom officers selected the bus for thorough check. During the inspection customs officers found 20 plastic bags filled with loose white tablets hidden in the natural cavities in the luggage compartment, concealed. The drug test responded to containing pseudoephedrine - precursor for the production of amphetamines. The total amount of the drug was 11.180 kilos for BGN 7 826.

The driver is arrested. The car ware seized. A pre-court proceeding is initiated on the case.

Today, August 7, 2017, the Haskovo District Court will meet on the request of the Prosecutor's Office to determine a detention on remand in custody against the accused Serban B.
