Officers from Ruse Customs House unveiled a variety of goods without a valid excise label in a tobacco warehouse



Significant quantities of different types of tobacco products without a valid Bulgarian excise band were seized by officers of Ruse Customs House during a check in a specialized warehouse in the Danubian town.

On February 23, 2018 Inspectors of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department have inspected the tobacco warehouse in the Western Industrial Zone. 913 cigars and cigarillos of different types and brands and 39 smoking tobacco packages were found during the inspection. All are covered with invalid Bulgarian excise labels. Customs officers have discovered and seized 18 boxes of molasses for hookahs with a total weight of around one kilogram. All boxes were without a Bulgarian excise label.

Administrative criminal proceedings were instituted in connection with the case.
